We again are running low on food.  However, we have a lot still to eat and are getting creative with our food.  We know we are not wasting food and going shopping is like painting on a blank canvas.  Ok, so maybe I get a little excited about this.  I guess it is a highlight in my very, very difficult week.

Class this week covered the economy, which was COMPLETELY out of my element.  I did my best, but I barely passed this in high school and college.  I thought that if there was more demand, you just made more stuff.  (Seriously.)  I have realized that to teach, you should have a large knowledge base.  Somehow, I don't seem to have acquired enough information to speak on authority about anything.  Each week is a challenge.  Next week is poverty.  I seem to bite off more than I can chew most of the time.  I have probably worked a 60 hour week and have a busy weekend ahead.

Well...enough about my whining.  I was in a car accident today, slipping through an intersection before hitting a pole.  Thankfully, I just dinged up my front bumper and scraped the paint off someone else's.  I was very, very thankful the pole kept me from going into the ravine.  I have some negotiating with the insurance company to do, but I have a working car and no one was hurt.
